We want everyone in our organisation to feel as healthy, fulfilled and inspired as possible and, following a fantastic uptake during Phase 1 of our Globeducate Wellbeing Programme, and some very positive feedback, we are delighted to share with you the choices available for you in our second phase.

We believe this wide choice of courses will create opportunities to relax, to feel invigorated, to learn a new skill, build confidence and encourage a sense of community across our teams in different countries. Some courses are interactive, others only involve you joining and watching and listening.

Zumba

This hour-long ´Zumba Toning´ class combines the flavour and energy of a regular Zumba class with a safe, effective, total body toning workout. The class includes a warm up, standing sculpt, Zumba toning routines using light hand weights, followed by floor exercises on the mat and finishing with a full stretch. Using light hand weights for added resistance and a floor mat we target individual muscle groups as well as providing a fun cardiovascular workout.

Beginners´ Hatha Yoga with Mariana in Marbella: Improve your strength, flexibility and balance with regular practice of Hatha yoga. This is a form of yoga, meaning “discipline of force” in Sanskrit, that involves holding specific body postures, called asanas, to work on muscle strength and to connect your mind and body. Research has shown that it has been linked to mental and physical health benefits such as stress management and stronger core muscles. Core muscles are important for overall body function and strengthening these can help prevent lower back pain, improve your balance, and make you less likely to sustain muscle injuries. Great for those who can´t do higher intensity exercises such as running or weight lifting, you´ll learn body postures, breathing techniques and relaxation and meditation. Hatha Yoga has also been found to improve depression symptoms because it acts on the neurotransmitters in our brain, in a similar way to antidepressants.

Mindful-Nature connection course

Nature-based mindfulness is perfect for anyone longing for a deeper connection to nature and to their own natural selves. It's also ideal for anyone feeling the negative effects of disconnection and feeling overwhelmed with stress, tension and anxiety. Both mindfulness and nature interactions are ancient practices that were known for their beneficial health and wellbeing effects. Mindful-Nature Connection is inherently calming and restorative and can also promote a more profound reconnection with ourselves and others and a beneficial relationship with the environment. You will learn practical exercises and meditations that creates new awareness, aligns your body and mind, provides new options in times of stress and connects you to the natural world more effortlessly.

Personal Mastery

Personal Mastery is both a discipline and a journey. Understand the concept of mastering yourself and your work environment, learning the key principles and practices for tapping into your full potential, developing positive attitudes and using personal power and life coaching techniques to deliver and maintain excellence and success. Personal Mastery requires us to understand, motivate and manage ourselves and people often within situations of conflict and interpersonal differences. This motivational workshop explores life success processes and combines management theory and practice with elements of personal mastery philosophy, NLP and life coaching.

 

Introduction to Using Essential Oils

This essential oil course is perfect for anyone wanting to learn about how to use essential oils. This class will provide you with information about different oils, how to use the oils, understanding the connection between smell and the brain/emotions, how different oils can support health and wellness goals and providing you with and overview of how to pick the right oils for you. There will also be an interactive section in the class where you will do a guided meditation and journal exercise to help you dive deeper into the benefits of using oils for different aspects of your life.

Learnissimo

We have teamed up with Globeducate´s language learning portal, Learnissimo, to offer a select number of our staff a trial phase of one-to-one foreign language lessons with native language teachers. The course of lessons will be offered for free to 20 members of staff in exchange for detailed quantitative and qualitative feedback and reviews. Course slots are available 24/7 to fit your own schedule, you will have 10 lessons which will be 30 minutes each. There are five languages available including English, Spanish, French, Chinese and Italian. To register your interest, please fill in the form below.

 

Wine Education Experience

In this class you will learn how red and white wines  are made, how they differ, and most importantly, how to buy the perfect to enjoy at home. You would be amazed how people generally shop for wine in a wrong way. It will then mention the main grapes and main regions of the world for those grapes come from, as well as the differences between them followed by some wine and food pairing (and yes, you will learn how to pair food and wine – Michelin star style!)

Indian cooking class

Interactive Indian cooking class

This interactive Indian cooking class will come to you from Jaipur, India. This class will share information about Indian culture, traditions and the fine art of Indian cooking, following traditional recipes on the live session. It will take you through the steps of each recipe and its history. Your preparation time for the dishes will be 15-20 minutes and the class will run for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
