Both mindfulness and nature interactions are ancient practices that were known for their beneficial health and wellbeing effects. Mindful-Nature Connection is inherently calming and restorative and can also promote a more profound reconnection with ourselves and others and a beneficial relationship with the environment. You will learn practical exercises and meditations that creates new awareness, aligns your body and mind, provides new options in times of stress and connects you to the natural world more effortlessly.

In this course you will firstly learn how to connect with yourself through an introduction to nature-based mindfulness. You will then learn how to connect to nature with ‘awakening the senses’ practices, you will also learn the different mindful-nature techniques to help with nature connectedness through grounding and breathing. Finally, you will learn how to connect with nature’s rhythm through flow and movement.

This course forms part of Hazel Farrer´s Mindful-Nature Connection programmes which focus, in separate modules, on developing better attentional control, emotional regu-larity and self-awareness through connecting to nature and developing environmental awareness. Hazel has extensive experience of training people in corporate organisations and schools, and is an SAQA accredited trainer and assessor, and a certified Mindfulness and nature connection teacher, Life Coach, NLP practitioner, Executive Coach and Hypnotherapist.
